جلسة توعية قانونية للعاملات بالتعليم الخاص ضمن مشروع “قوة النقابات”

عقد الاتحاد العام لنقابات عمال الأردن وبالتعاون مع منظمة العمل الدولية، جلسة توعية قانونية حول الحقوق العمالية، بمشاركة عدد من العاملات والمعلمات في قطاع التعليم الخاص.
وأكد رئيس الاتحاد، ورئيس اللجنة المؤقتة للنقابة العامة للعاملين بالتعليم الخاص، خالد الفناطسة، خلال كلمة الافتتاح، أهمية تعزيز الوعي بالحقوق العمالية للعاملين والعاملات في التعليم الخاص، مشيرا إلى أن القطاع يواجه تحديات تتعلق بالأجور وشروط العمل وغياب الاستقرار الوظيفي، ويحتاج إلى مزيد من التثقيف والتوعية والدعم النقابي.

وتناولت الجلسة، التي قدمتها، المحامية أسماء عميرة، أبرز الجوانب القانونية المتعلقة بحقوق العاملين والعاملات في بيئة العمل، وفق قانوني العمل والضمان الإجتماعي، إلى جانب العنف والتحرش في عالم العمل، وغيرها من الحقوق المكفولة.
وتأتي هذه الجلسات ضمن أنشطة مشروع “قوة النقابات من أجل عالم عمل أكثر شمولًا ومساواة بين الجنسين”، الذي ينفذه الاتحاد بالشراكة مع برنامج العمل اللائق للمرأة في منظمة العمل الدولية، وبدعم من مشروع “المساواة في العمل” المموّل من حكومة مملكة النرويج.

The General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions, in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO), held a legal awareness session on labor rights, with the participation of several teachers from the private education sector.
In his opening remarks, the Federation’s President and Acting President of the General Union of Workers in Private Education, Khaled Al-Fanatsa, emphasized the importance of promoting awareness of labor rights among workers in the private education sector. He pointed out that the sector faces challenges related to wages, working conditions, and job instability, and therefore requires greater efforts in education, awareness-raising, and union support.
The session, delivered by lawyer Asmaa Amira, addressed key legal aspects related to workers’ rights under the Labor Law and the Social Security Law, in addition to issues of violence and harassment in the world of work, among other guaranteed rights.
These sessions are part of the activities of the project “Strengthening Unions for a More Inclusive and Gender-Equal World of Work,” implemented by the Federation in partnership with the ILO’s Decent Work for Women Programme, and supported by the “Equality in Work” project funded by the Government of the Kingdom of Norway.
